Hello, this is Anji from Wiz Global. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit a ryokan (traditional inn) in Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture, where I assisted with the transportation of students from Myanmar. During the journey to the ryokan, the students had many things they did not understand. I took the time to explain the sightseeing spots they would encounter along the way and some convenient aspects of Japanese life. I wanted to provide them with useful information about Japan before they began working at the ryokan, in order to help reduce any stress they might feel.
At first, the students would only nod in response to my words, and there was no conversation. However, by taking care of them, smiles started to appear on their faces, and eventually, the students began to speak to me. I believe that when the students who have received job offers join the company, by easing their initial nervousness, I will be able to engage in smoother conversations and better understand the students' needs. From this experience, I will provide explanations in advance to the students who receive job offers and make sure that the person responsible for their reception does not feel any anxiety.
I believe that the students will face many challenges due to differences in work culture, but I hope they will grow gradually. I also hope they will gain experiences and learn things that they could not experience in Myanmar by increasing their interactions with others.
Currently, there is a growing number of companies hiring foreign nationals. In fact, through our relationships with these companies, there are opportunities for them to learn about our services. Many companies are struggling with staffing shortages, and I hope that by making our services known, we can offer some support. I aim to provide the utmost support and bring joy to everyone involved.
